Job Description

Project Coordinator supports project manager as they manage the execution of the construction projects. This role coordinates activities and processes associated with the project. Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing day-to-day tasks and supporting everyday administrative duties.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Locate, download and print project documentation (i.e. plans and specifications).
  • Read/Analyze blueprints and create takeoffs.
  • Requests quotations for subcontractor and vendor items.
  • Review and understand plans, take offs, scope of work and budgets.
  • Organize and manage bid schedule, meet bid deadlines and follow up on submitted bids.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and job walks.
  • Manage RFI’s, Addendums, Notifications and communicate with clients during bid process.
  • Respond and follow-up with clients, vendors and business partners as needed on behalf of the Project Manager(s),
  • Assist in change order review, quantification and schedule of values on selected projects.
  • Assist the Project Manager(s) in the development, implementation and execution of business leads, contact follow-up and meeting logistics.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal staff by disseminating information appropriately.
  • Assist in the coordination, organization and tracking of multiple project team activities and efforts.
  • Provide administrative support to the field, office and project team.
  • Support efforts to achieve financial targets and company objectives.
  • Serve as an internal resource to help project teams adhere to company policies, standards and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Must have the ability to work efficiently and independently with little guidance and/or supervision.
  • Must maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Valid California Drivers License and reliable transportation.
  • Obey Company safety policies and procedures.
  • Minimum of High School diploma required
  • English proficiency (read, write, speak and understand) and able to communicate effectively with co-workers and management.
  • Detail oriented, organized, and efficient individual able to complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner
  • Knowledge and experience with software such as Plan Swift, S1, Blue Beam is helpful, but not necessary
